Statewide Competitions
NYC Football Academy is a prominent participant in the prestigious Queensland Premier invitational football competition, bringing together top clubs, academies, and international teams in the scenic city of the Gold Coast during the September school holidays. This tournament provides a platform for showcasing talent and fostering competitive spirit among players.To prepare for this high-level competition, NYC Football Academy organizes comprehensive trials for all competition teams during the Easter and June/July holidays. These trials offer players the opportunity to engage in focused 1-on-1 sessions and team training under the guidance of experienced coaches. Additionally, weekly Sunday sessions are conducted to further enhance skills and teamwork leading up to the main event.
National Competitions
Similar to the Premier Invitational, the academy gets to travel all over Australia to play against the top football players in each state. We are now submitting an application to compete in the Independent Football Australia (IFA) National competition in 2025. The competition is conducted annually in Sydney, Australia. In order to compete with the greatest private football academies in Australia, both competitions aim to highlight the country's most gifted athletes. NYC Football Academy is committed to nurturing these athletes. In addition to performances during the Premier Invitational in September, trials throughout the Easter and June–July school holidays will be used to select competitors for this competition.
Overseas tours and competitions
Our overseas tours are made to offer the academy's girls and boys, along with their families, an experience that will never be forgotten. We urge all of our players to take advantage of this chance, as it will allow you to see and practice with some of the top football clubs in the UK, giving you a taste of what it's like to be a professional football player. Every academy player traveling with us is expected to perform at a very high standard on and off the field. This performance will be tracked all year long through the players' specific development plans and player profiles.
